I am very pleased that you have chosen me to participate in your journey to renewed health and vibrant living. The investment you have chosen to make in your health by incorporating massage therapy is a very important to me. As we are both committed to this wellness journey, consistent participation is key to achieving optimal results. My studio maintains the following Cancellation and Missed Appointment policies.
CANCELLATIONS AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day (24 hours) before your scheduled appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 30% of the cost of the scheduled service. I believe that you are best served when we are both well prepared. I value the time you are investing in my services towards your health and wellness and that time is our greatest resource. However, we all know that life happens and emergencies arise. With the exception of a true emergency, I respectfully require a 24-hour notice of cancellation. This allows me the opportunity to adjust my preparations and open the time slot for other clients. For first time clients that cancel with less than a 24-hour notice prior to their appointment will be expected to prepay for services to reschedule an appointment. First-time clients who no-show, unfortunately, will not be able to reschedule in my office.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO AN EMERGENCY
I love serving and helping my clients; being a massage therapist is my business, my livelihood and my life’s joy. With 24 hour notice or better, there is always a strong chance I can fill an opening with someone needing an appointment right away. This keeps business keep flowing and helps all my clients receive great service.
In the event of an emergency requiring a cancellation; outside of the 24 hour notice period, I require a simple, quick courtesy phone call or detailed text when an unforeseen emergencies arises. I understand that life happens and I may waive any fees once I understand the situation. The phone call, (or detailed text if a call is not possible), is necessary for me to be able to waive the fee. Then we can reschedule to get your health and wellness program back on track. If there is not an emergency, the fee may be applied for the missed appointment.
Please understand that I have customized your service to fit nicely within the amount of time allocated for your appointment. Arriving late to an appointment does cut into our time together and may shorten or eliminate a portion of the service I planned especially for you. Since I have prepared and set aside time, the service cost remains the same even if we are unable to start on time due to a late arrival.
PRE-PAID SERIES FOR WEEKLY AND BI-WEEKLY CLIENTS
Pre-paid series massage purchases are encouraged for clients for whom a once a week or once every other week treatment is recommended. Series purchases must be used within a six month period. The Pre-Paid Series is intended for weekly or bi-weekly visits as we are building on the healing and improvement from one week to the next. One a month and maintenance treatment sessions are not eligible for the Pre-Paid Series.
